Randy Burgess is a corporate storyteller. His focus is on the value and benefits a company can deliver to
its target audiences, with operational and/or strategic narratives in print, video, speeches or live events.
Over the course of his 40-year career, Randy has worked as a broadcast journalist, video producer, hi-
tech marketing communications manager, live sports/video producer and communications executive.
The common thread is the communication of information and ideas in a compelling manner.
A lifelong Ottawa resident, Randy has been part of three exciting corporate start-ups—CHEZ 106 radio,
the Ottawa Senators (NHL) Hockey Club and the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG). He’s
also contributed to the success of multiple technology firms including Webplan (now Kinaxis), CML
Emergency Services and LA-based Adexa. As a vice president with OSEG, Randy established and oversaw
communications and game production for the Ottawa REDBLACKS (CFL) and Ottawa 67’s (OHL) as well
